Shabby Chic Advent Tags

I've been obsessed with altered tags for quite some time. Last Christmas, I decided I would start collecting items for an Advent Tag kit for this season. I picked up lots of trinkets, lace, and vintage elements here and there along the way for an entire YEAR. And this is what I came up with...
To showcase the tags, I bought a backless frame from a local antique store.  It was originally dark, so I added gold rub n buff to it, and I love how it shined.  Next, I bought foam core from the Dollar Store, dry fit it to the inside of the frame, and cut it.  Then I wrapped the foam core in burlap, to cover up the foam.  I then placed the entire backing into the frame, and attached it to the back of the frame with Duct tape.  Nothing fancy or expensive at all.
Here is a closer look.  Click on the images to see them more closely.
I plan on doing a whole sparkle/glitter holiday showcase, and will shoot photos of this in my home when I finish decorating.  For now, I wanted to give you a closer look at the project itself.

If you are interested in purchasing the kit, you can email Trish at Turay413@gmail.com, or place your order directly here.  The cost of the kit is $30 plus shipping.

Enjoy your day!
